Resumen
Augmented reality is a revolutionary technology that has impacted the field of interactive learning. Given this, this research aimed to determine the extent to which Augmented Reality improved the interactive learning of computer science students at the Enrique Guzmán y Valle National University of Education in Peru. A quantitative approach was used, analyzing the effects of augmented reality through a pre-experimental design with a pretest and posttest in a single sample. The study population consisted of 100 students, of which 20 were selected as the experimental group. The Shapiro-Wilk test was used to assess data normality, given the sample size was less than 50. For hypothesis testing, the Wilcoxon-Mann-Whitney statistical analysis for independent samples was used, observing that the asymptotic value was 0.001, which is less than or equal to 0.05. Among the results obtained, it was highlighted that the implementation of augmented reality offered improvements in academic performance and the quality of teaching. It was concluded that it should be understood as another opportunity in the evolution of technologies applied to education.
