Dinámica de la Cadena Productiva: Una comparación para la Caesalpina Spinosa

Subsistence economies, generally in developing countries, such as those in the agricultural sector, require mechanisms, tools and models that encourage the use of comparative advantage to make it competitive, which requires joint work by all the actors involved in the process. On this path, the productive chain as a business model that brings together all economic agents from production to marketing of a product, has the purpose of joining forces and meeting local and international demand to achieve common objectives such as increasing income, market positioning, improving living conditions among others. That is why this research, using the forest plant whose scientific name is caesalpina spinosa and colloquial name taya or tara, evaluates the relevance of establishing the dynamics of the productive chain, quantitatively demonstrating that it is viable. The study has a mixed approach and is exploratory, descriptive and correlational. It characterizes all the links and proposes the organization and formalization of the chain respectively to enhance the product by generating added value in each instance.
