Herramientas de Gestión de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo para Reducir Riesgos Laborales, Trujillo 2023

The research evaluated the impact of Occupational Health and Safety Management tools (GS-SST) on the occupational risks in Trujillo during 2023. The objective was to ensure a safe work environment and protect the health of staff. An applied, explanatory and quantitative methodology was used, with a preexperimental design and a sample of 23 operators. Data was collected through documentary analysis and observation, measuring risk levels with the IPERC and proposing preventive measures for high risks. The results showed a significant improvement in compliance with the initial baseline diagnosis of the SGSST, with an increase from 45% to 85% with respect to the compliance score, and a notable risk reduction in the IPERC: 53% at the trivial level and 47 % in tolerable level in the forming area, and 65% in trivial level and 35% in tolerable level in the cooking area. In conclusion, the implementation of GS-SST tools significantly reduced intolerable and high risks, 76% in the forming area and 94% in the cooking area.
