Herramientas de Lean Manufacturing y su impacto en la productividad en una empresa comercial

The research aims to implement lean manufacturing tools to improve productivity in a commercial company, resulting in an improvement in productivity, reducing cycle time by 20%, from 5 to 4 days, and a decrease in total cycle time by 15%, from 21 to 18 days. Likewise, improvements were recorded in the productivity of labor and raw materials, with a 57% increase in raw material productivity and a 36.9% increase in labor productivity. It was diagnosed that work reprocessing, delays in final finishing, delays in preparing parts, untrained personnel, defective machines and lack of inputs in the production area were the causes of the low productivity of measuring boxes, which resulted in a loss of S/ 12,451. Regarding the development of the implementation, tools such as VSM, TPM and OEE were included for the production area, generating a benefit of S/ 4,080 per year, a NPV of S/ 5,046.53, an IRR of 14%, a B/C of 1.41 and a PRI of 5.13 months.
