Implementación de un sistema de gestión de mantenimiento para incrementar la eficiencia laboral en el área de producción en una empresa de Calzado, Trujillo 2023

The research aimed to determine how the implementation of a maintenance management system increases labor efficiency in the production area of a footwear company in Trujillo during 2023. An applied and quantitative methodology was used, with a pre-experimental design and tools such as data sheets and observation guides. The results showed a significant reduction in losses, allowing the company to obtain benefits of S/49,497.50, demonstrating the effectiveness of the implemented strategies. The initial diagnosis revealed significant losses due to the lack of a preventive maintenance plan and standardized procedures. The implementation of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) increased production effectiveness from 59% to 69%, with an investment of S/9,800.00. Furthermore, the use of the Kanban Method optimized processes and improved communication, and KPIs strengthened control. Finally, a Net Present Value (NPV) of S/22,697.84 and an Internal Rate of Return (IRR) of 88% were obtained, confirming the project's viability and its positive impact on the company's profitability.
