Resumen

The objective of this research was to determine the influence of internal vibration time on the compressive strength of a concrete fc=210 kg/cm2 using aggregates from the Roca Fuerte Quarry located in the Baños del Inca district. 72 concrete specimens were made, which were compacted by vibrating internally for 5, 15, 20 and 25 seconds, in order to perform compression rupture at 7, 14 and 28 days of age in each of the specimens. The results obtained of the specimens tested after 28 days of curing determine that vibrating for 5 seconds the average resistance of the concrete is 216.73 kg/cm3 this result is considered the standard sample with respect to the compaction of internal vibration in 15, 20 and 25 seconds where the average compressive strength was 266.75 kg/cm2 271.10 kg/cm2 and 234.74 kg/cm2 representing 23.08%, 25.09% and 8.31% respectively. The investigation concludes that the optimal internal vibration of the concrete at 7, 14 and 28 days is 20 seconds since it presents greater resistance to compression.
