La educación como factor de integración en situaciones de inter y multiculturalidad: Aspectos para el debate sobre la condición del migrante

Although philosophical, anthropological, sociological and educational research on cultural diversity is not new, they have gained notoriety and recognition with the constant migratory movements of recent times. For this reason, the article analyzes the issue of inter and multiculturalism, starting from two basic elements: 1. Migrations as agents of interculturality and multiculturalism. 2. Language as a vehicle that facilitates these processes, especially when circumstances favor both migrants and natives. By virtue of the foregoing, the subtle, but necessary differences between multi and pluriculturality are defined and established, pointing to formal and informal education, as a necessary and vital means to achieve the integration of migrants into social dynamics and thereby promote peace, understood as equity and social justice, and multiculturalism, as a tangible reality, which must favor the development of individuals and society.
