Mobile Application to Improve the Therapy Process in Children with Delayed Speech Onset

Currently, a considerable number of children suffer from late onset of speech, which occurs in infants from an early age having little interaction which develops a lack of communication between their surroundings. In this project we will focus on the late onset of speech and how to deal with it through the use of an application that manages to complement the sessions that are conducted with the specialist as well as reduce the time of these, generating economic savings and improvement for children. The research was of a technological applied type with an explanatory experimental design. The results were promising and indicate a great progress in the improvement of the children's speech, it was identified that there was a reduction of 27.73% on the vocabulary learning time, the number of words learned increased by 123.67% and finally a reduction of 17.33% in the number of therapy sessions performed by each child was identified.
