Resumen

The purpose is to survey health sciences students in universities about their strategies towards online learning. The research describes the experiences of 252 students between the third and fifth year of the Health Sciences career at a Peruvian University in Lima. Twenty-six predetermined questions were asked through an online questionnaire after obtaining informed permission. Data were examined using SPSS version 27 and descriptive statistics. Results: 68 % of students use their mobile devices and 58 % use their laptops for virtual courses, with wireless Internet being the preferred option among students (69 %). Due to the teacher’s difficulties in adapting to this teaching method and the students’ difficulty in accessing audiovisual resources for clinical practice (70.3%), 81% of the respondents considered their education and training to be inadequate. Undergraduate health sciences students have an unfavorable impression of virtual education in general. Live classes are again recommended, this time for clinical practice.
