This project focuses on the proposal to implement an information system for financial planning in a company in the fishing sector with the aim of improving decision-making at a strategic level and achieving optimal results that benefit the entity. An analysis of the current situation of the company was carried out, evaluating its current processes and prioritizing the financial planning process as one of the candidates to be served through the use of a business information system. To do this, the functional requirements were compiled through use cases and their corresponding specifications, and the prototype of the proposed system was designed. At the end of the investigation, it was possible to analyze the company under study internally and externally using management tools, one of the twelve company processes that were identified was prioritized and through the CUN the functionalities that the system should have were established. proposed system when interacting with the various actors. In addition, an economic estimate of the proposal was made taking into consideration all the items necessary for its future implementation. The above allows us to conclude that the proposal to implement an information system for the financial planning process was developed, being essential to improve the administration of financial resources, which is aligned with the fulfillment of the company's strategic objectives.
