Propuesta de mejora en la gestión logística para aumentar la rentabilidad en un aserradero, Trujillo 2024

The purpose of this research is to increase the profitability of a sawmill located in the city of Trujillo through a proposal that involves improving logistics management. An analysis of the current situation was initiated to identify the root causes of profitability, namely the lack of inventory management and the absence of inventory control. The ABC System and Kardex improvement tools were then proposed and developed, and finally, a final comparison was made with the results obtained after implementation. This achieved the purpose of this research. The investment required for implementation was also evaluated to assess its economic viability. A VNA of S/18,288.65 and an TIR of 19% were obtained, which supports the viability of the proposal for the sawmill under study.
