Propuesta de mejora en la gestión logística para incrementar la rentabilidad de la empresa distribuidora Larub, Trujillo 2024

The research aimed to determine the impact of the proposed improvement in logistics management on profitability in the warehouse area of the distribution company Larub, Trujillo 2024. To determine the company's current situation, the Pareto Chart tool was used, identifying 80% of the existing problems. The perfect delivery indicator was also calculated, obtaining the optimal months: July, August, and September. As a result of the situation, a flowchart was designed in the purchasing, receiving and storage processes, correcting and organizing the system. In addition, a global analysis of the inventory turnover was carried out, obtaining an indicator of 3.7 times, reflecting the efficiency of the supply chain. The products were then classified by applying the ABC classification analysis, determining that the company has 52 products, 29 type A, 13 type B and 10 type C. Finally, an improvement was achieved, reflected in profitability with an increase of 5.53% in 2024. The economic indicators of NPV, IRR and B/C were calculated, obtaining values of S/. 3,625.57, 47% and 1.20.
