Resumen
Currently, the lack of advanced technologies in healthcare facilities hinders accurate diagnoses. People with physical disabilities face daily challenges in mobilizing and performing daily activities due to physical limitations. The main objective of the study was to develop a prototype of home automation system for people with disabilities, using the Scrum methodology for flexibility and quality. The result obtained after the research was a prototype of a home automation system with a mobile application for people with disabilities, with a friendly and functional design that facilitates the access of people with disabilities to total control of their homes. To determine prototype quality, obtain a mean on the Likert scale after the evaluation of 10 experts, meeting high-quality criteria. In conclusion, it was possible to develop a prototype to improve the movement process of people with disabilities, with good functionality and design. It was also concluded that the home management system has a positive effect in helping people with disabilities to move around the home and help with some basic tasks.
