N2 - The purpose of this systematic literature review is to analyze the most used remediation methods to remediate mining environmental liabilities developed by some mining companies as a contribution to sustainable mining. Therefore, five (5) selection criteria were considered, such as: a) Spanish language, b) documents containing the IMRD research format, c) 11 years old (2012-2022), d) reliable research sources such as virtual libraries, university repositories, search engines, databases, among others, e) inclusion and exclusion variables. For which 38 research articles were selected, of which 11 are scientific articles, 02 review articles, 19 undergraduate theses and 06 graduate or master's theses, making use of inclusion and exclusion variables to facilitate the search for information. This analysis of the documents obtained served to solve the objective and research problem of this SR, in which the different physical, chemical and biological remediation methods used to remediate environmental liabilities resulting from mining activities were presented, as a contribution to the mitigation of negative impacts on the environment.
