N2 - Nowadays meeting tourism has suffered a drastic change due to a series of events affected by the COVID-19, which caused it to disappear. This research aims to analyze the level of satisfaction provided by the touristic services in the city of Trujillo to propose the guidelines of a meeting tourism plan. The methodology employed in this research was qualitative trough a documentary analysis of the level of satisfaction of the national and foreign tourist who visit Trujillo in 2017 and 2018 in addition to the Regional Strategic Tourism Plan of La Libertad [PERTUR]. It was obtained as results that the level of satisfaction of the national tourist for 2018 was 80% while the international tourist obtained 36.1%. To achieve tourist satisfaction, sociodemographic variables, perception variables, motivation, destination, and context variables are influenced. In Peru, work is being conducted to consolidate meeting tourism in different destinations. It is concluded that the level of satisfaction of the national tourist is high and that of the foreign tourist is medium with a tendency to decrease and therefore the importance of strengthening the services provided are considered, hence guidelines are proposed to develop meeting tourism.
