Tecnologías de Información y Comunicación y Gestión de Procesos Administrativos Hospitalarios en un Hospital Nacional Peruano

This study analyzes how Information and Communication Technologies are related to the management of hospital administrative processes at a national hospital in Lima, Peru. In the context of hospital modernization, the use of ICT is essential to optimize administrative areas that require precision and agility. The research adopts a quantitative approach with a correlational design, applying validated and reliable questionnaires to a sample of 100 hospital administrative workers. The results reveal a significant positive relationship between the use of ICT (particularly with regard to technological infrastructure, information systems and staff training) and the improvement of the management of administrative processes. Findings suggest that effective integration of ICT into these processes improves operational efficiency and the overall experience of both patients and staff. It is recommended to continue investing in infrastructure and training to make the most of the potential of ICT in the hospital environment.
