N2 - This systematic review describes the advantages and benefits of sustainable supply chains practiced in different companies or organizations worldwide. The objective of this work was to determine the advantages and benefits of sustainable supply chains based on a review of the scientific literature of the last five years, consulted in specialized journals such as Scopus, ProQuest, Science Direct, Web of Science and Scielo. Therefore, the present theoretical review was conducted taking into account the systematic review methodology and was based on the Prisma methodology. The results show economic, environmental, social, supplier/customer and technological benefits that are practiced in various entities.
